To provide career alternatives to today’s youth, by exposing them to the Non-Destructive Testing Industry and other trade based careers. Educating the youth by teaching them essential life skills, and encouraging them to explore the vast career options in different industries of trades.
Our Story:
Frederick Williams
Founded in 2017 by Frederick Williams,The Jessie Mae Foundation was created to expose today’s youth to career alternatives. As a young teen from St.Louis knowing that college was not the route he wanted to take, he began to explore other career options within his community
Seeing that there were not many programs in his community that provided career options to the youth, The United States Air Force was the option that he felt was best for him.
During his four years in the Air Force, Fred was able to gain the knowledge and skills needed to position himself for his future. Thirty Five years later, Fred is now the President and Owner of Level 3 Associates LLC; a premier Non-Destructive Testing Firm in Marietta, Georgia.
His lack of exposure to career alternatives as a young teen is what inspired him to create a platform that would provide those opportunities to today’s youth.The Jessie Mae Foundation, named after his mom, was formed to do just that.
The Jessie Mae Foundation mission is not only Fred’s priority, it was a dream that has now come to fruition.
